Rechargeable Ni-Cd Pump General
Care
IMPORTANT: PUMP MUST BE CHARGED FOR 24
HOURS PRIOR TO THE FIRST INFLATION. Use the AC adapter to charge your new
Aero pump for 24 hours. For maximum performance, be sure to fully
discharge pump before recharging. After initial charge, charge pump for
12 hours at a time. In an emergency, a 2-3 hour charge will provide one
inflation. Charging your pump for periods longer or shorter than 12 hours
will substantially decrease the life of your battery.
To charge your pump:
| 1. |
Remove the tiny rubber plug from
hole on the back of the pump. |
| 2. |
Insert the charger's mini-plug in
hole on pump. |
| 3. |
Plug charger unit into any standard 220 V electrical outlet and
let it charge for no more than 12 hours after initial 24 hour charge. |
To discharge your pump:
| 1. |
Open the Air Release Valve on your
Aero product. |
| 2. |
Remove the protective cap from the
valve by turning counter-clockwise. |
| 3. |
Open the protective rubber cap on
the pump. |
| 4. |
While supporting the open Air Release
Valve cover with one hand, press the mouth of the pump into position on
the valve and turn clockwise until pump turns on and locks in to place. |
| 5. |
Let pump run until completely discharged. |
