How does the Mattress Topper pump work?

 
The Aero Mattress Topper pump plugs into any 220-240 outlet. To operate, plug in motor. Make sure that the air pressure supply lines between the Mattress Topper and the pump are firmly tightened. Press the “inflate” button on the comfort control wand and hold until topper is fully inflated. You cannot over inflate your Aero Mattress Topper. Once the Aero Mattress Topper has been inflated, adjusted the firmness by pressing “inflate” or “deflate” on the comfort control wand.

The pump is a UL listed 230 VAC pump, 50Hz, 0.5 Ampere, with a standard UK or European plug and 4.2 metre cord. (110 volt product sold outside Europe)
